About the painting

Bruno was the best dog, a loyal, trusty beagle. I was 12 years old when we brought him home, and he provided us with so much joy and warmth (he was named after the character in one of my favorite childhood books, “I Am a Puppy”). I’ve painted pictures of him during my teen years and wanted to paint him again, this time as a puppy in a more playful moment.

I used one of our first photos of Bruno as a reference for this painting.

This is a limited edition Giclee print from my original watercolor, “Bruno.” Prints are printed on 100% Cotton Rag paper using pigmented dyes. These prints look exactly like the original and are expected to last a lifetime.

Prints come matted in white, unframed, and ready to be framed in a standard frame.
