About the painting
During a trip to Lake George, New York in November, 2023, I decided to explore, hoping to get a better view of the lake. After walking for a little while, I found a beach area covered in leaves.
There was something special about the spot. I could sense that as I snapped some pictures with my phone.
As it turned out, the area I’d been photographing was located right about where Georgia O’Keeffe had spent her summers from 1918 to 1934. Viewing her Lake George artwork and her husband Alfred Stieglitz’s photography was so inspiring -- to think that I was painting the same hills and water as Georgia O’Keeffe some 100 years later!
 
Details
This is a limited edition Giclee print from my original watercolor,  "3 Leaves, Lake George." Prints are printed on 100% Cotton Rag paper using pigmented dyes. These prints look exactly like the original and are expected to last a lifetime.
Prints come matted in white, unframed, and ready to be framed in a standard frame.

A portion of the proceeds from every sale of this print will be donated to Double H Ranch, which is located near Lake George in Lake Luzerne. Double H Ranch, which was co-founded in 1992 by Paul Newman and Charles R. Wood, provides programs and support for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses.
